Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using appqr.io ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

appqr.io provides smart app store redirect links and QR codes that detect a user's device and redirect them to the appropriate app store (Apple App Store, Google Play, etc.). We also provide click analytics and QR code customization.

3. Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Redirect to malicious, fraudulent, or phishing content
  • Distribute malware, spyware, or harmful software
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications via redirect links
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
  • Redirect to content that is illegal, defamatory, or promotes violence

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice. Links that violate our acceptable use policy may be disabled immediately.

5. Plans and Payment

  • The Service offers Free, Pro, and Business plans with different feature limits.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Creem.io, our Merchant of Record.
  • Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of purchase.

6. Usage Limits

Each plan has defined limits on the number of links and monthly clicks. If you exceed your plan's click limit, redirect links will continue to work but analytics tracking may be paused until the next billing cycle. We will notify you before any service degradation.

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by appqr.io.
  • You retain ownership of the content (URLs, logos) you submit to the Service.
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Availability and Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We aim for high availability but are not liable for downtime, data loss, or redirect failures.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, appqr.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless appqr.io from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your redirect links will stop working and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
